Capacity ratings systems have come under fire in recent years since they tend to be conservative and based on generic formulas. But not every prospect can be rated the same. In this session, we’ll look at a variety of ways to both rethink and to adjust capacity ratings to accommodate the uniqueness of our prospect pools.

Marianne Pelletier discovered prospect research at the Harvard University Development Office in 1988 and has been hooked ever since. She’s also served as the annual giving director for Southern New Hampshire University and as a software consultant for the Datatel Corporation. But her love for identifying wealth kept her coming back to research. She served as director of research for both Carnegie Mellon University and Cornell University before founding Staupell. Marianne’s curiosity in her MBA program launched her on her data science journey, and she hasn’t recovered from it yet.
She is a graduate of Rockford University and of Southern New Hampshire University, and she lives in Upstate New York in a rambling farmhouse where she cooks up new ideas with the help of her amazing Staupell team.
