Apra Carolinas Spring Conference at Elon University

We will kick off at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12 with a tour of Elon University's Loy Farm, which includes a solar farm, responsible design studio, and agricultural farm. We will host a networking reception at the Cork & Cow beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening. A $10 registration fee includes appetizers, and a cash bar will be available. A menu with flatbreads, salads, and sandwiches (including gluten-free and vegan options) is available for those interested in staying on for dinner. Space is limited for both the farm tour and the reception.
Conference sessions will be held on Friday, April 13 in Oaks 212 on the Elon University campus. Session topics include prospect management, key metrics in major gift fundraising, effects of the 2017 federal tax reform on charitable organizations, differentiating planned gift and major gift prospects, cryptocurrency in the social sector, and a panel discussion on continuing education for prospect researchers. Non-member fee - $75 (this price includes a chapter membership for 2018)
Hotel Information
The conference hotel is the Drury Inn in Burlington, NC, conveniently located about 3 miles from campus. Rooms are available at a rate of $145 per night.
Parking Information
Parking is included in the registration fee, and a parking map will be sent out prior to the conference.
